Our mision

We are a robotics team from Tepic, Mexico, competing in the FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge. Our mission is to propose creative solutions, design and build robots, encourage teamwork and compete in themed challenges.

4 pillars of competition

Core
Values

Innovation project

Robot design

Robot game

Focuses on promoting teamwork, cooperation, respect, and sportsmanship among participants. Teams must demonstrate respect for themselves, others, and the environment, collaborating effectively during the competition and in their community.

The teams provide an innovative solution to a community problem related to the season's theme. For example, this year's theme is MASTERPIECE and focuses on various art forms.

Teams design, build, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO Spike Prime kits. The goal is for the robot to complete missions within a themed game board, requiring engineering, programming, and critical thinking skills.

Our innovation project

"Immersive Experience"

Problem
Innovative solution

The main problem identified was the technological obsolescence of the theater, along with the lack of infrastructure for people with disabilities. We observed how backstage tasks were performed manually, with significant safety risks, especially in the operation of the stagecraft.

The proposed solution involves automating the theater to improve safety, efficiency and accessibility. We propose to install electric motors on the stretches and use modern control consoles to manage theater operations. The incorporation of VIP areas with sound technology integrated into the seats is also suggested to improve the listening experience.

Impact

The potential impact of the project is significant. Event attendance at the theater is expected to increase significantly, increasing from approximately 130 events a year to 400 events. This could result in annual attendance of up to 450,000 people. In addition, the modernization of the theater and the improvement of accessibility will benefit people with physical disabilities, facilitating their participation in cultural and artistic events.

Socialization

The expansion of the project has been complete, from its presentation at the School Book Fair to its promotion on social networks and local media, reaching a wide audience. Both the educational community and state authorities have shown strong support and enthusiasm for the initiative, recognizing its potential impact on the improvement of theater and the inclusion of people with disabilities. This socialization has been key to the success of the project, ensuring its acceptance and support in various sectors of society.
